ASA is heat, UV, and impact resistant - perfect for daytime viewers whose scopes could be the subject of prolonged exposure to the sun. This piece was designed with the Celestron NexStar 6SE as an example. It is possible it will fit other models however, it is your responsibility to ensure correct fitment if you have a different model. The modular design comes with some unique benefits, such as the ability to chose specifically designed add-ons to fit your needs.
