Description: CARL THIEME DRESDEN PORCELAIN TREMBLEUSE CENTER PLATE My parents traveled throughout the world a lot from the late 1970s until about the beginning of maybe 2002. They loved collecting antiques and this is one of the multi-hundreds they purchased. Late 19thC, likely dating from 1880-1890. Blue underglaze maker’s marks T over X signifying the Carl Thieme Factory in Dresden, Germany. There are also 2 distinct stylized flowers or leaves in gold gilt on the reverse - I don't know what they signify (SEE LAST PIC - USE ENLARGE TOOL). I do not have the matching cup that sat in the middle and this is NOT Meissen. (T over X on this one.) There are no notes or provenance that I found along with this beautiful little plate. That’s all I know. Maybe someone out there has the matching cup/porcelain drinking glass that has lost its plate at some point over the past 100+ years! I sell and ship to continental U.S. ONLY. Which means NO BIDDERS OR SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES. Sorry – I will not deal with Customs. OH YES, THERE ARE NO RETURNSON ANY OF MY ITEMS
