This sign is made to the exact early-1920s standards used by the California State Automobile Association (CSAA) on the auto trails and other roads throughout Northern California and beyond. This style featured blue text and the CSAA logo (as well as the association name at the sides) on a yellow sharp-cornered diamond. (Later generations changed to rounded corners for safety, in case an unexpected kinetic event caused the darn thing to come flying through the windshield.) The original of this sign would be worth many thousands of dollars, if it even survives at all. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without breaking the bank...or making use of a time machine. The sign is flat printed on steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts.
