Description: Maker: This gorgeous and rare antique Limoges chocolate pot has the white ware mark number 11 of H&Co - the iconic Limoges firm Haviland & Co. - and the Haviland decorator's mark number 13. Age: The green H&Co white ware mark over the letter L for Limoges was in use between 1888 and 1896. Source: Third edition of the Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain by Mary Frank Gaston. Design: The chocolate pot is in the beautiful pattern of delicate pink flowers and gold accents called Schleiger 464. Size: It's about 7 inches long between the tip of the spout and the far end of the handle, 3 inches square at the top and 9 inches tall at the top of the spout. It weighs 1 pound 13 ounces. Condition: It's in excellent condition with no marks, nicks, cracks, scratches, stains, discoloration, repairs or significant wear. There is an embedded dark manufacturing flaw on the side; it's shown in the photos. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
