Description: Wonderful and early dollhouse furniture set in a small scale - about half scale. Includes a ~3.5” Grodnertal doll with jointed hips and knees and shoulders and elbows. Given her age it is not advised to play with her. Use great care with these dolls. The furniture is housed in a bent wood box which is likely original to the set. Beautiful magenta or purple coloring. Very very rare! Overall excellent condition with some wear commensurate with age. These pieces date to the 1850s and are a marvel to have survived given their fragility. Just one chair appears to have a loose back and the silk on the doll’s dress has deteriorated some. This is common. Sold as-is with no returns. See photos.
