I'm not sure whether the distressing is factory or wear over time. It seems really consistent throughout the shoes which leads me to believe it's by design. Regardless, I'm guessing they could be polished to be uniform if desired. There are a couple of light scuffs on the toes and some lighter coloring on the backs that would extend slight beyond the reach of the normal distressing. Nothing significant but just trying to point out what I'm seeing. The bottoms are a lil dirty but in terms of actual wear, I'd say it's minimal. You can see some slight (very slight heel drag).
