DESCRIPTION - Each book is bound in leather, with marbled boards, raised bands, gold letterin’ on spine, marbled endpapers, and top of pages tipped with gold.....These are purty big books, each measures about 9 1/4 high, about 6 1/2 across the front, and is about 4 inches thick…… CONDITION - The books are in used condition....The pages are good, with the edges darkened, and waves from age......And the books have what I would call an old book scent......The covers are solid, with quite a lot wear and use, with noticeabe spine cracks and creases, especially on the first volume, and there are some darkened areas on the covers.……Tho much used, this is still a purty good ol' set……I think you will be pleased with it......Illustrations alone are well worth the price of the books…… ************************** PAYMENT AND SHIPPIN' - 'Course the thrilled winner is gonna hafta pay $5.95 for postage and handlin'............Multiple purchases save on shippin... ...Now while you're here, why don't you give my other auctions a look-see...Why, I 'spect I got a wagon load of mighty good books over yonder in my Book Barn...
