Description: Up for sale is this very unusual early electric sewing machine mfd by Asam-Wright Applique Machine Co from Philadelphia PA. This machine was Patented January 27, 1914. This machine is a real eye catching piece of equipment with black enamel paint over the ball shaped iron body and the guilded bronze/brass frame. I have tried doing some research into what this machine might have been used for but there is very little information on it. If you have any information I’d love to hear. This is a fantastic piece of sewing history that I believe is pretty rare to find. Condition is very good with some wear consistent with the age and use. I plugged it in and the machine seemed to be working well. I don’t know if it is missing any parts. Measures approx 6.5” tall Please use the pictures as the main part of the description. If you have questions please ask prior to purchasing. Item is being sold as is per photos. Meaning that the item you see in the photos is what you will receive.
