Description: Rather interesting miniature blanket chest, this was recovered from Madison county New York, a little different then what I am used to seeing , the chest is dovetailed and you can see its one rather large dovetail, not typical construction that we are used to seeing , at some point someone had rather decorative hinges on this chest you can see there are marks from the hardware on the case and lid, the paint possibly could be cleaned there is a decoration to it the lid has wear and its faint which is typical , great original feet , overall a wonderful little primitive ! Only 19 inches wide 9.5 tall and 9.5 deep
