Description: This is a very primitive egg lifter (to remove eggs from boiling water). Could have also been used asa small strainer. The handle is smooth unfinished wood and the basket is aluminum. This is very old,a bit fragile. There is a hole in the end of the handle so this is nice as a display piece in a retro kitchen. The total length is 14 inches. The width of the aluminum basket is 3.75 inches.
