Description: This is a pair of antique blue Moser glass vases with crimped rims, one featuring an enameled harlequin clown/jester and applied balustrade in the background, and the other featuring an enameled maiden with applied balustrade in the background. These vases were hand blown by Theodore Rossler who was known for the unique way he applied enamel to hand made glass objects, giving it a three dimensional effect similar to cloisonne or layered glass. He developed this technique after WWI and apparently stopped around WWII. They are both in very good condition with no damage. Each one measures 8 1/2" high. Perfect for use or display, and certainly a show stopper. Enjoy!
