Description: Antique Maxfield Parish inspired Cerci Witch lamp this Maxfield Parish inspired lamp was given as the top prize in a carnival shooting game. This is Circe, the white witch who was able to gaze into her crystal ball and attract men to her island. The lamp is painted plaster that does seem to have an old repair at the base which is, not noticeable. In one opening at the bottom, someone has placed an old German marble to catch the light I will leave as found. The statue light is extremely rare, especially in its current condition. The same original colors were used in restoration. I have also removed the windmill that ran off the heat of a light bulb and made the light flicker. Did not feel this was safe and I recommend use of cool lightbulbs There are glass jewels which are shown in the pictures and two very nicely cut Amber prisms held by the elephant heads. These lamps were considered a bit over the top in the early 20th century, but now they are valued for their uniqueness beauty and a sense of the era
