I believe these door knobs are for the exterior front door because one of them measures 2 1/2 inches across the dome and the other one measures closer to 2 1/4 inches across the dome. I believe the larger one is for the outside of the door and the smaller one is for the inside. These door knobs are first pictured in the 1901 Sargent catalog on page 78 and then in the 1910 Sargent catalog on page 118. These door knobs do not include spindles. They are in very good vintage condition considering they're over 100 years old. They really look beautiful. Please study the pictures as they are the largest part of the description.
