Description: Antique English Elm & Walnut George II Chest of Drawers 18th Century Circa 1730 An early 18th century English George II chest of drawers, circa 1730. Elmwood and walnut with oak secondary woods. With very nice book- matched elm wood veneers with crossbanded walnut borders and double molded drawer edges. With two short over two long graduated drawers, all on scrolled bracket feet. It is 32 1/4" high, by 43" wide by 22 1/2" deep. The finish is old with nice patina, and the hardware has been replaced, but is of the period. With various minor repairs throughout. Please view all photos carefully. Guaranteed to be as described.
