Description: Offered is this lovely antique German 21" China Head Doll. She does have a shoulder plate repair, but is so lovely in her antique outfit that no one will be the wiser!She has beautiful bright blue eyes with a red highlight line in the eyelid crease. Single stroke black eyebrows. Pert little closed mouth. Her nose has a rub on the tip as you can see in her pictures. I have pictured the back of her shoulder plate so you can see where the repair starts. It goes up to the lower part of her chin in the front (pictured) and then goes down the front from there. I can't remove her clothing totally to show that. Her body is old as it is stuffed with wood chipping or sawdust, but it is not as old as she is. She has on layers of clothing! A muslin plain chemise, two slips and then her wonderful skirt and bodice. A gorgeous blue floral on cream fabric with a layered front and then loads of ruffles under that. Edged in black trim and silk ribbon which makes it really stand out. The bodice features covered black silk buttons on the front and net lace detail on the bodice, collar and sleeves. She displays well even with her faults.
