Antique 1920s Arts Craft Cast Brass Bronze Hanging Porch Light Mission Tudor Vtg

Description: Very old (circa 1920s era) LARGE hanging cast brass/bronze porch entry light. Measuring approximately 37” tall x 10 1/2” Diameter. The thick large Diamond link chain measures 16 1/2 ” in length. The light has been rewired and works perfectly. The original black painted finish that was on the light when salvaged/rescued was left as is original. There is slight layers of old paint as well as normal aging, fading flakes/scrapes in the paint . The original curved hammered textured glass panels are all intact. NOTE- All the panels have line striations/imperfections scattered in them from the actual making process of the glass- (these are not cracks, they are what’s called folds/striations) - just typical manufacturing imperfections of glass from that era, and there is bubbles within the glass as well. The chain and ceiling cap does have scattered aging and patina throughout as you would expect from lighting 100 plus years old. The light is absolutely gorgeous as it is but also could be refinished to a desired color if one chose to do so or even strip the paint off to the natural brass/bronze, either way the light is going to look magnificent!
