Description: Here is Fatou a precious child doll by Annette Himstedt. Fatou is part of the Barefoot Children collection. Fatou is an African American vinyl doll that measures 26" long with a vinyl posable head, chest plate, arms, and legs with cloth cotton stuffed heavy torso. The doll is made to sit and pose upright. She has lovely large, dark brown eyes with real, upper and lower eyelashes, painted brows and dark lips. Her wig is long dark brown wavy hair human hair. Her wig has become detached from her head and will need a spot of hot glue to stay put if desired. She wears a precious, heavy pink cotton long dress with white covering over top with wonderful knit lace and detail. There is one brown spot on the front of the dress. Please see picture. I have not attempted to clean the spot and will leave it up to the buyer. She comes with the barefoot children book dated 1987. Unfortunately, I do not have her certificate of authenticity or box.
