Description: For sale is a pink glass oval serving bowl by Anchor Hocking in the Mayfair, or Open Rose, pattern. The long serving dish features a ribbed body detail with embossed cabbage roses around rim and in the center well. The rim is up to 1 1/4" wide and incorporates tab handles on the long ends of the dish. This piece is in good condition with minor fleabites on edge and gentle wear. The dish has some rough edges which includes multiple, tiny fleabites on the edge, especially on the handle at the seam line which can be found by touch. All of the rough areas are at the mold seam. There are notable production flaws including popped bubble in bottom (photograph 11), excess glass drip on interior (photograph 12), and burr on the lip. The dish is not marked.
