Description: These are beautiful grips for the AMT II standard, full-sized model, a pistol made originally by Arcadia Machine& Tool. AMT made the "Auto Mag" series, and these grips are for the AMT AutoMag II ONLY. Like all AMT pistols, the AMT II is truly a unique pistol in .22 Magnum (WMR) caliber, and we now have another style of beautiful grips for it.These grips have the "AMT" logo, representing one of the entities that manufactured the grips. We have other styles for the AMT III in other listings as well.These are made of hand-selected fine English walnut that is partially checkered, leaving the upper portion smooth; the two surface treatments are separated by a sharply-defined border that exists between checkering and smooth, providing a unique and functional grip. The unique AMT logo is engraved in the checkered portion below the midsection of the grip, and is done with such detail as can only be done by lasers. The laser-cut borders of the grips are finely etched into the wood, accentuating the wood's natural grain and rich beauty. The grips can be mounted using the original screws; no screws are included with these grips. A great way to provide a secure grasp on your pistol while enhancing the appearance of your rare AMT pistol.These are made of solid walnut, and are quality grips - there is no laminate or synthetic material used here. When installed on your pistol these grips leave the frontstrap and backstrap open as do the original factory grips.These grips aren't stained,varnished or coated with anything that impairs the natural beauty of the wood. They're lightly treated with fine oil mixture to act as a preservative and help ward off moisture.The grips in the photo are representative of those you'll receive; the grain and color may vary slightly but will be similar in appearance. However, pictures cannot do these grips justice, as the grips themselves must be seen and handled to fully appreciate the artistry that has gone into making these parts. These are made on modern CNC equipment, allowing the precision and fine features to be consistent from set to set, while keeping the grips affordable. Because of the nature of firearms and the variation between examples of guns, some minor fitting of the grips may be needed for your specific gun.These are for either left- or right-handed shooters, as there is no distinct thumb rest on either side's grip panel. These look great on blued, plated or stainless guns, and for such a low price they're also great to replace those old, worn-out grips too.These grips are ONLY for the guns listed above, and do not fit other models not stated.
