Description: AO American Optical Matte Chrome 52[]20 Bayonet style frame with new Fuse Gray non-polarized plastic lenses. Fuse lenses are a giant upgrade over standard-three times more durable, and they have the best scratch warranty in the business. The frame has been disassembled, cleaned and straightened. I put them back to as close to factory specifications as I can. For 50 year old sunglasses these rate a solid 9/10, with some yellowing visible in the pictures. The pictures show the condition better than any description ever could . The AO original nose pads have been cleaned, and the temple tips have been removed for cleaning(that was a chore). The frame is 5.25” wide. Please use that as a sizing guide, to make sure these will fit your face. Please do that before you bid. AO was the original military aviator sunglass supplier, so this frame is a piece of history. It is 50 years old, though, so do not purchase if you want new. Comes with a new travel case for safe shipping. The frame rates are 9/10.
