American Optical AO 51/2 Silver 58[]20 Bright Chrome Fuse Pro Midnight Blue

Description: Very, very rare 58 mm frame in Bright(shiny) chrome! Original AO American Optical Bright Silver Bayonet style model 5 1/2 with new Fuse Pro Midnight Blue Mirror polarized plastic lenses. Fuse Pro is a huge upgrade over standard-three times more durable, optical quality polycarbonate, with the best scratch warranty in the business. This frame is the original military aviator frame issued to Air Force pilots in the 60/70’s. The frame has been disassembled and thoroughly cleaned, detailed and renovated to factory specifications. It is 5.75” wide, and 140 mm(5.5”) deep. Please use this as a sizing guide to make sure these will fit your face. Please do that before you bid. The frames rate a 9/10, with a few scratches on the chrome. Otherwise, really nice. The temple tips are NEW OEM original tips($$$). See pictures for details, and ask questions. They are 50 + years old, and in really nice condition, but please do not purchase if you want new. They are authentic aviators from the 60/70’s. Comes with a new snap button case. This is amongst the few bright chrome Original Pilot frames I have seen in 58 mm. The nose pads are yellowed, but clean.
