Description: ambrosia eastern maple, Backs about 8.4 wide at lower bout, 21.6 long , sanded to about 0.170 thick Sides, 32 long, 5 to 4.5 wide sanded to approximately 0.160 thick, a few saw marks still present. Sides are prettier than backs to me, but all from same 14 inch wide plank. There are holes(ambrosia spots) left by the bug/ insect that attacked the tree while alive that will need to be filled in the ambrosia areas.Several holes on each plate. The pieces have been kiln dried so there are no longer any insects in the wood.
