This Full-Face Helmet with an aerodynamic design and strong ventilation is sporty enough for pretty much anyone on the road. The inner liner will keep you comfortable after a full day of touring. Helmet ShellThe helmet shell is a combination of carbon and aramid. This composite is ultra-strong and lightweight. The AGV K-6 comes in 4 different shell sizes. In the smallest shell size, the helmet will come in at around 1350 grams and clearly, that shell material is doing something right. The inner shell is made of EPS and has some really deep ventilation channels in them.VentilationThe ventilation system should be fairly familiar to anyone that has wore any of the AGV from last decade. And as anyone who has used an AGV helmet in the last decade would know, it works well. We have 2 chin vents and these are opened via a switch. Then up top we have 3 brow vents that can be opened or closed using individual sliders. We have an always open exhaust vent at the back as well. In the video of the AGV K6 Riding Test, you can see that the helmet performs great when it comes to ventilation.VisorThe K6 visor has a wide and high view angle like the visor we can find on the AGV Race Pista GPRR and the AGV Road race Corsa r. The visor gives you plenty of view and is also optical class 1, which means that it has the best clarity class. The visor is anti-scratch and also anti fog/pinlock lens prepared. The helmet comes with a Pinlock Lens included in the box. Swapping the visor out is pretty easy as well, It works pretty much the same as the visor mechanism of the AGV Pista GP R.LinerThe inner liner of the K6 comes with an emergency quick release system. Furthermore the liner is removable, washable and antibacterial as well. It consists of a mix of Ritmo and Shalimar in specific areas. The neck roll is Ritmo and artificial leather, while the cheek pads are a mix of Ritmo and Shalimar. The headliner is also made of the soft Shalimar material.
