Description: Here up for sale is a softcover book entitled Model Cars, from 1978, with 78 pages in color. Seven pages are devoted to slotcars, with features on Matchbox slotcars and sets, two Cox Superscale sets, and several Tyco curvehuggers are pictured as well (chrome Superbird, chrome '57 Chevy, chrome Camaro, chrome Corvette, and a Porsche Carrera). One AFX set is illustrated, and an AJ's speed parts center is pictured. Other chapters detail vintage plastic car models, '50s and '60s promos, metal models, and '70s radio control cars. Very nice color pictures throughout. Back lists associations, publications, and more. Put out by the editors of Consumer Guide. New, unused condition, with slight curl showing on the lower right corner. Nice item for the collector of slotcar reference books.
