Skaters, Windmill, Houses, Sheep This is a nice selection of CHRISTMAS postcards that have the classic Christmas Motifs that are seen in ANTIQUE postcards from the early 1900s. The postcards are nicely drawn and have a colorful and attractive look to them. These postcards have the seasonal feel and are good postcards to add to a collection. They would appeal to collectors because they have good detail and capture the style used back in the early 1900s. These postcards are EMBOSSED and would have been published during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915). A number of them have GOLD TRIM. They are from different publishers. Overall, a nice selection of antique Christmas postcards at a very reasonable price. These 6 postcards are colorful and attractive, and show snowy rural scenes including houses, sheep with a sunset, skaters with a windmill, flowers, holly and berries, star design, etc. The colors in the postcards include: green, red, purple, orange, yellow, and blue. There is one postcard that is AIR BRUSHED with purple colors and a strong gold center showing a forest scene. The postcards are POSTED with cancel dates of 1909-1913. They have DIVIDED backs. These are BETTER POSTCARDS and are good for a collector or dealer. They will keep their value. Often these postcards are sold as individual items for many dollars each. They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, stains and edge wear due to their age. The photos show the postcards and their backs.
