These first day covers were issued on November 10, 1945 to honor the achievements of the U.S. Coast Guard in World War II. The stamp design features the depiction of a landing craft in WWII. These would make a great gift. See scan for condition. Anything not obvious in scan is noted. Please disregard the number at the end of the title. It is an inventory number.
