Description: Pair of stunning antique bread & butter plates made by the Jean Pouyat factory of Limoges, France. The mark on the backs dates these delicate porcelain plates to the early 1900s. This infrequently seen pattern is known as POY187 on Replacements, Ltd., and features a dark cobalt blue band on the flange with gold filigree on top and a gold encrusted edge, on a white ground with a gold floral filigree medallion in the center. These plates measure 6 1/4" in diameter and are in excellent condition with only minor gold loss.
