Description: Offered for your consideration: 19th Century Russian Empire Southern Caucasus Antique Silver Belt. A lot of nations live in that area (Dagestan, Abkhazia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, a lot more), and though they in many cases have different religions, tradition, etc, in certain aspects they are close to each other, and I think origin of the belt can pretty much be any of these countries/nations. There are no markings on that I can see. I have a lot of photos showing it in detail with a lot of close ups. As you can see that over the years it has seen multiple repairs (or perhaps we should call it repair attempts, some not very professional perhaps). Now: if you pay attention to the reverse side of the buckle, you may notice that perhaps it is not silver, I would guess copper, but ... again I cannot tell for sure, you may notice that on some other small parts of the belt as well.
