Description: 19c Meiji Period Solid Bronze Mythological Dragon HUGE 40.Lbs 11"X21" . You're looking at a huge vintage bronze. I am not 100% sure of the age but due to the research I've done this is what I come up with This does have a couple of cracks in the bottom. Not noticeable when it is sitting up. There's a few other small marks and some green tarnish coming through. I did not want to clean this due to the age and not knowing how to properly do it . I could not locate a signature, although it could be hidden on here. Anywheres this is very detailed. This is gigantic. It is 40 plus pounds and measures.11x12x21 It does appear to be missing some sort of small detachable tray. Maybe an ashtray or some kind of holder that went between the claws the higher loop on the body.. Please look at all pictures for condition. This will need a good cleanup. Again.
