During his 21 year baseball career Molitor played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays and Minnesota Twins. His career batting average was .306. Molitor is one of five players in major league baseball history with at least 3,000 hits, a .300 lifetime batting average, and 500 stolen bases.
