Description: 1982 KNOXVILLE TN WORLDS FAIR LOT OF 5 SOUVENIRS STROHS XMAS MORE This assortment of souvenirs from the 1982 Knoxville Worlds Fair was part of our huge Worlds Fair and Exposition Collection. We mostly collected 1933/34 and 1939/40 items but also have many pieces from much earlier to much later Fairs. We once offered the entire collection as a buy it now on eBay with no takers and have since been piecing it out. My husband, seller named Jal12147 and I will be listing pieces till it’s gone. Here are five items that were souvenirs of the fair. They are being sold as a lot at one price. They are: 1. A shiny brass Christmas ornament in a gift box with a dove in the center. It’s in very nice condition. The ornament measures 2” in diameter. 2. A round, copper-toned cast metal ashtray with the fair logo in the center and a decorative edge. The paint has gotten thin in a few areas but it’s in very good condition, 3”. 3. A cast metal mini fry pan ashtray. This is lighter weight than cast iron but was painted black to look like it. The lettering in the center has been cast into the center. Some of the black paint has worn off. This is in good condition with no dings or missing pieces. The full length with handle is 6”. It measures 3-1/2 in the frypan area, 4-5/8” if you count the cigarette rests. 4. Stroh’s Beer mini Beer Stein made of ceramic. Has both Stroh’s and Worlds Fair labeling. It’s in excellent condition. It measures 4” tall, 2” at the top and 2-1/2” at the base. 5. 1982 Worlds Fair mini Stein. It’s in good condition except for a chip on the base, pictured. It’s 3” tall, 1-3/4” at the top and 2-1/4” at the base. This piece is a good shelf piece. The chip is on the bottom and doesn’t show.
