Diamond (1942-2018) taught Ancient History, German History, and Western Civilization at Keuka College in Keuka Park, NY for fifty years. Dr. Diamond educated over ten thousand students, served as Chairman of the History Department several times and authored six books. He was an often cited expert in German history and in particular the period around World War II and the Holocaust. His 1974 book, The Nazi Movement in the United States, earned a Pulitzer Prize nomination in history.
