Description: Elegant retro styled vintage 10K yellow gold Order of the Eastern Star ring with colorful enamel star on a black, rectangular cut onyx gemstone. Each of the colors symbolically represent character-building lessons exemplified by significant female biblical figures. Faithfulness, fidelity, purity, immortality and charity and the virtues represented. The mounting has a delicately detailed micro textured border, and some subtle detail on the shank. The diamond is framed in a square white gold bezel. A lovely keepsake, I'm told by original owner was from 1967. Marked- 10k yellow gold, black onyx, enamel, diamond.
