Description: Greetings! You are purchasing a very nice error Lincoln wheat penny cent coin. The original copper planchet only weighs 2.5 grams. This led to the coin being too thin during the minting process. I believe the coin is a 1953 Philadelphia cent (see photos). Details are weak due to the nature of the planchet being too thin so it did not get fully stamped. I also show two photographs showing the weight of the coin by itself as well as the weight with a normal wheat penny that weighs the proper 3.1 grams (not included). The coin will make a great addition to your error coin collection. Insured shipping will be $5.50. I guarantee my description as accurate so buy with confidence!
