Description: Taken when the 31st was based at Foggia Main Airfield, Italy** see below Vintage WWII ORIGINAL1944 USAAF 31st Depot Supply Squadron North Africa and Italy photo. From airman Sgt Harbo Goodwin Thompson. He made a unknown amount of sets of these photos he gave to some of his fellow men of his Squadron along with index of all the photos as a Merry Christmas gift in 1944. I wrote on the back of the photo gently in pencil what was on his index. These were on uncut 10 x 10 inch photo paper which I cut apart with a paper cutter. Most photos are 2-1/2 to 3 1/2 or 2 3/4 x 4 1/2 inches so 6-7 photos on each 10 x 10 sheet. They were stored in the original WWII 1940's photo paper box so are in Fine/Mint condition . Serving in WWII he got out, and relisted right back in, in Nov 1945, then out again and relisted in 1949 for the Korean War..
