ELIAS, M.A. with both color and black and white illustrations/photographs. Published by Little, Brown and Company in 1929 with a copyright date of 1928, it covers the most important polar expeditions divided by the Artic and Antartic endeavors. Condition is good with wear to the linen covered spine ends, fading to the spine lettering, and overall soiling to the exterior linen boards - past down is without damage - exterior page ends are tanning from age. Other than a small fold down on the front list of series page, I find no tears, holes, writing, stains, or damage - minor page tanning - book will lie flat in certain sections, but all pages are secure.
