Description: 1901 John Rose Solid Birmingham Silver Vesta Case. With Hand chased Scroll Leaf and Foliate Pattern, good hinged lid. Monogrammed to the corner. Possibly HAA Size approximately: 5 cm x 5cm (2” x 2”) Weight: 29.68g Antique item with light age related wear. The lid does not have any spring to it and does not sit flush to the case (photo 2). Four pin style dents seen and one slightly longer (2mm) to the opening side. I have given it a quick wipe over, but as with all my items I don't over clean or polish, as this can ruin a patina.
