Description: This dress is made from a very light, peachy pink cotton. It has 19 beautiful old white milk glass buttons ( all there). It's trimmed with pleated ruffles and has self piping in the armhole seams. The back bodice is not attached to the skirt, the skirt in center back is cartridge pleated beneath the bodice. I don't know if this is a young ladies dress or a petite woman and is missing the under skirt since it would be too short for most full grown ladies. It measures 33 inches around the bust, 34 inches pit to pit, across the back shoulder is 12 7/8, neck is about 13 7/8 inches, waist is 23 1/2, armhole is 12 1/2 inches and it's 44 inches long in front and dips longer in back. It was de- accessioned from a museum, they are calling it a linen on the tag, it looks more like a medium weight cotton to me, but could be a fine linen. Please ask any questions prior to bidding.
