Description: This is a pretty rich aqua quart Union Clasped Hands Eagle historical flask from the Civil War period of the 1860s that has nice A & Co (Adams & Co) glasshouse maker's mark.....it has UNION emb with 13 stars above shaking hands on a shield with vines on side..blank oval...all emb on front....Back has bold emb flying eagle with A&CO emb banner & shield above an odd eliptical/pointed oval....Hand blown in mold, bimal....early sunken smooth base with half circle key mold....crude drippy applied double ring collar....nice rich aqua color....quart ....8 1/2"tall....Excellent shiny nice condition with only one chip on top of lip; no other damage. A sparkling clean attic bottle with no haze. Outside of the lip chip, this flask is totally awesome! ........
