This was revised from the last London Edition. The author: "late principal of the University of Paris, Professor of Eloquence in the Royal College, and member of the Royal Academy of Inscriptions and Belles Lettres". Books measure about 7-1/4" x 4-1/2" x 1-1/2" and consist of 330 and 350 pages respectively. Books have extensive cover scuffing and chipping. Volume IV has no cracked hinges, no noted rips, tears, markings, missing pages though the front hinge is loosening at the front end page. Volume II has the front cover almost completely detached from the remainder of the copy. No noted rips, tears, markings, missing pages. Both books have extensive foxing, see pictures.
