We don't recommend using this blade to cut too hard materials, such as: agate with a Morse hardness of 6-7. Because it is difficult to cut or the blade will be damaged quickly. A high concentration diamonds are crimped into the rim. These blades work well with most lapidary materials and are a very affordable alternative to name brand blades.
