Description: Welcome to The Textile Trunk , please follow us on Instagram we are @textiletrunk ~ This fabulous textile is French and dates from c 1860 ~ it uses the wonderful Prussian blue tone and is both roller printed and hand block printed, it's STUNNING ~ ( please see my other textiles for matching pieces by simply searching my store for the words " Prussian Blue " ~ ~ The fabric is a linen and cotton blend and the one side has a ruffle , the other side has the remains of a 19th century hand woven trim!~ This fabric is sturdy, it's one of the most beautiful patterns I've ever seen ~ Ideal for hanging as is or cutting into two curtains, upholstery fabric you name it ! MEASUREMENTS: This lovely textile measures approximately : 119 inches long by 32 inches wide at the bottom. At the top, where it is gathered it's approximately 18 inches wide ~ CONDITION: I have left this curtain in as found, unwashed condition and it's best left that way unless you cut a piece and then hand wash gently ~ this panel is aged, please see the patina of the side edges ~ There are some tiny holes ( I only saw a few) and some minor blemishes in this piece, generally it's in fabulous condition for it's age and size a TOTAL treat!
